If you are in an area where you can’t attend Mass due to the restrictions for COVID-19, that’s ok! Here are some resources for you to continue your Lenten journey, pause, pray and be mindful of the bigger picture that despite the onset of this virus, God is still with us. If we are self-isolated, have a common cold, or battling COVID-19 ourselves, GOD IS WITH US. Our hope always points us toward God. May these days of “isolation”, become days of reflection for us, where at other times, just becomes another normal day filled with distractions that prevent us from going inward. When we gather for Eucharist, we receive Christ, we know Christ is present in the Word, and in the People of God. These are days when we recognize that Christ is present to us still in the Word of God, and is each one of us and our family that we gather with. Do not feel deprived… Feel privileged that this time is a time to draw closer to Christ through prayer, fasting and almsgiving…. Just as Lent calls us to – All for the sake of the World.
