“GIVING FROM YOUR POVERTY” Bible & Beer – IN PERSON

St. Patrick’s Church, 137 McCaul Street, TORONTO
(Enter through front Church doors)

NOTE:  TIME CHANGE TO 7:30 PM.  There will be a Mass in the Church at 6pm for ALL SOULS DAY.  You are welcome to join in for Mass and then stay to join in for Bible and Beer.

Join us on a monthly basis for an informal “bible study”.  We will reflect on the words of scripture as they relate the liturgical season of the year to the experience of our lives and journey of faith.  We will gather for about an hour of input and reflection and continue the conversation across the street at the pub in a friendly social atmosphere.  Each month we will alternate between in-person and online formats.

Please observe required physical distancing requirements.  Masks inside Church are required.  Thank You for your cooperation.  COVID Vaccination is not required for the “Bible” portion of our evening, but will be required if you plan to attend at the pub after.

It’s really easy these days to become tired and fed up. We seek for people who hold TRUTH and CARE as their foundations. We can feel there isn’t enough being done around us, in our church, world or community, or maybe we don’t love how institutions are handling situations.

Well…you DEFINITELY have to meet the Saints! They were holy men and women who have lived IN LOVE with God. These humble and passionate people used their talents to bring a BETTER WORLD to everyone they could. They often fought for change within the church. They fought for change in their community but most importantly, they fought for change within themselves.

The Saint’s lives are fascinating, full of conflict, intrigue, sacrifice, love, triumph and struggle (sounds like our lives….huh)
They are amazing and exceptional people in our Church’s history that we can learn from and just be INSPIRED by.
In the world today it can be hard to find role models that share the Catholic Faith with us, and it can be hard to find a role model….period.

These INCREDIBLE humans are waiting to have their story heard by you! They want to inspire you and intercede for you in your every day.

“Are You Game?”  Board Games for Catholic Singles

Come and meet fellow Catholic singles in a fun and relaxed environment. Individuals will rotate to new groups and board games, while refreshments and hors d’ouerves will be served between rounds. This event is for young adults (age 19-39) and will have a maximum number of participants with equal gender representation.
