Our journey begins with our 5-part series of virtual seminars for teams of parish leaders – employed and/or volunteer.
Seminars build upon one another. The Ignite team is available between seminars to offer support to your team as you immerse yourself in the ideas and vision of Comprehensive Youth, Young Adult and Young Family Ministry. Ideally parish teams consist of 3-5 people committed to attending all the seminars and the “homework” to fully benefit the enlivenment of your parish community! This is a journey to ignite a vision of ministry with and for young people on the local level while learning the skills of program development and leadership training.
Non-Redemptorist Parishes pay $100 CND per person for the year and includes participation in the workshops. (4+ participants $50 each participant)
Fees for Redemptorist-Staffed Parishes will be negotiated with their EPC.

1. Orientation (1 hour) – August 27, 7 pm EST
Setting yourself up for success!
Meet participants, discover expectations and resources for the upcoming sessions, and where to find support in your local context.
2. Igniting a Vision of Ministry (2 hours) – September 10, 7 pm EST
Learn about Comprehensive Ministry and its benefits.
What are the needs of youth, young adults and families in your context?
3. Where are the Youth, Young Adults and Young Families? – Doing Ministry Where They Are (2 hours) – October 8, 7 pm EST
Developing confidence, skills, and a team to reach out beyond the doors of the church to spread the Good News! And what is the Good News anyway?
4. Igniting Our Leadership Potential (2 hours) – November 12, 7 pm EST
Developing a strong vision of leadership in Ministry! What skills are needed for your context. One person doesn’t need to (and shouldn’t) do everything. Breaking down the ministry to manageable pieces, finding people with the right skills. Let’s all get involved in Building the Kingdom!
5. Taking it to the Next Level (2 hours) – December 10, 7 pm EST
Putting all the puzzle pieces together, sharing our vision, looking at the big picture practically and deciding upon next steps to enliven and engagd our parish in an effective youth, young adult or young family ministry made for our context.

Meet our Facilitator!
Annette has 35+ years of Ministry Experience in high school, parish and University settings, Having received a Masters of Divinity she credits the skills learned through a vision Comprehensive Ministry in the Certificate of Youth Ministry that supported and continued to enhance the ministry she has been involved in as well as her current role at Ignite Ministry. She is excited to facilitate this series, sharing what she has learned from her ministry work across the country, and learning from you, as we continue to
grow and strengthen the Church and God’s reign together.
