“Wise Up and Be Lit!” : Knowing what to do next and being ready when it matters
Lamps and oil are symbolic of good works in the Christian life and remind us of the light of our baptism. Wisdom guides us in knowing what to do next. Like the wise bridesmaids in the Gospel, how do we know what to do next and be ready when it matters.
Presenter: Fr. Thomas O’Rourke, C.Ss.R., Pastor of St. Patrick Church
Join us for this an informal “bible study”. We will reflect on the words of scripture as they relate the liturgical season of the year to the experience of our lives and journey of faith. We will gather for 1 hour of input and reflection and continue the conversation across the street at the pub in a friendly social atmosphere.
